Let's say someone that was staying in your household decided to start calling someone internationally on your house phone and hid your phone bill for two months and racked-up THOUSANDS of dollars in fees without your knowledge or permission to do so.
What would you be able to do to protect yourself/family and credit history/credit report?

Pay the bill... and take the idiot that actually used your phone to court to recoop the money.


How did you not notice a missing bill for several months... you didn't know the bill ALWAYS comes monthly?

Most likely you will have to pay the bill, work out a payment plan.

You can sue the person who did this, ( do they have money to pay you back ?)
