What is so significant about Facebook and twitter?
I was wondering why so many people are in to Facebook and twitter...
What are the things that people can get from those two sites?

Honestly I don't think there is anything that you would consider "significant" about Facebook, Myspace, or any social networking site. My thoughts are that every likes to feel as if someone cares so people go on these social networking sites and get "friends" and post just about every detail of their life on there, so that people will comment and make them feel as someone cares. Like I said that's just my thoughts... others may vary.

For me it's being able to connect with friends and family. Many of my friends live in the States (I don't) and my family is in Germany (I'm not). Long distance is just too expensive, so we keep in touch on Facebook.

I don't twitter (I don't see the reason for it) and I don't do myspace. One social network is enough. ;)

Also, the games are fun. :)
