About a year ago had an every oncve in a while driver side window would that would not repond when activating button. Then a few months back the window regulator had to be fixed. I had forgotten to tell the mechanic about the switch problem. Now the switch seems dead window will not respond at all.

Check the fuse then replace the switch... if the switch failed its not going to work. There is always a possibility of a wiring break (or bad motor)... but my money is on the switch.

There are ways to confirm its not the motor, but it might be beyond your ability to troubleshoot.

First, spray the switch with WD-40. Second, check all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter. Third, check the switch's continuity. Fourth, replace the lift motor.
