    What should I do?
I'm in an equal situation right now. A female friend of my lost her virginity recently (she did it with another friend) since that evening she is quite open for having sexual relationships between friends and she wants to do it with we. I actually want to do it but her best friends is my ex-gf and I still like her(secretly).
    WHAT SHOULD I DO?

You should never have sex just for the sake of having sex or losing your virginity.

Why not wait until someone you care about comes along?

You're kidding right? What more details do you want? First this was posted under the Teens forum, second the OP is talking about recreational sex. Those are more than enough details to say NO! ABSOLUTELY NOT!

    To AnotherWebDude,

Sex is not recreation. Sex is something to be shared between people in a long term, committed relationship. It is not something you do casually.

More important NO ONE should engage in sexual inte3rcourse until they are financially, emotionally and physically ready to have a child. No form of birth control is 100% effective, so engaging in sexual intercourse runs the risk of pregnancy.

If you want to be a friend to this girl, you will warn her that her promiscuity can ruin her life.

Even though I personally may not have as much experience in the teen advice or teen sexual guidance than what you do(ScottGem) I do have past experiences to compare off and I was no way shape or form promoting to him to engage in sex I was simply asking more questions to get a overall view of the situation. As for other another statement he never said he was a virgin people so that's why I was asking it, and no I don't agree with recreational sex or sleeping with girls just to do it. Both of your bodies are to be respected but it does not mean that you can't get to know the girl better and think about what your doing before going right into sex. Maybe if you find both of you are OK with it and have strong feelings for each other THEN it may become a option to have sex if you do it with protection(the smart way).

Macman, it was the fact that you were willing to tell your virginity loss story that was inappropriate. We don't share sex stories with underage teens.

Agreed Altenweg, Macman if this is how you feel you need to discuss with teens, you need to reconsider posting on teen boards

And even the basic facts given are enough to know this is not proper
