Will a simple worthless check misdeamor keep me from getting a job. This happen quite years ago, my husband (ex now) got a hold of some of my checks and forged my signature, causing them to be returned to the merchandise. Before I could pay them they had already taken them to the courthouse where I made full payment on them. Sued my ex-husband for fraud, and they will only let me expunge one of them as he did this two times without my knowledge. As I stated they are only misdeamors, not a felony. Please I need some reassurance before thisdrives me so crazy that I cannot stand it. I have went on line and found several sites that says as long as it is not a felony most employers wound understand. I am very skilled.

These days, employers have their choice of who to employ. If they want your skills badly enough, they'll overlook your misdemeanor. They might not even find out about it.
