I have been chating to a girl from ghana for 4 months now she swears she loves me and seems very smitten her mum fell ill and she had to fly back to ghana to help her mum as she fell ill and she spent all her money getting her mum the help she needed to get well ,she had to keep going to the internet café to keep in contact but she said it was such a long way away so I bought her a phone and sent it to her to keep in touch via email ,we both exchanged photo,s and I fell head over heels for her as she has for me so it seems, but we wanted to meet so I suguested holland as this is more central for us to meet , I helped her out abit with her air fare only £80 she paid the rest herself , but now she is demanding there is a decloration fee for her to fly and it is £2500 ,she has told me she will give it straight back when we meet in holland ,I know the pictures of the girl are definitely her as we met on web cam she also sent me photo,s of her holding a card saying thank you ian and I love you ian ,I want to trust her ,she has even offered to send me her passport details and I have told her all about the scammers from her country and that this is the no one scam in her country ,but she said that doesn't make her one and got quite offended ,and confronted me about my love for her and why don't I trust her ,she seems so sincere and she keps pleeding me to trust her and she will photo copy her passport and send it to me to check her crudentials , I can't get a straight answer on this fee for decloration does anyone know the answer to this question and know it to be fact!? Also is there anything I could ask her to see if she is telling the truth?

No declaration fee, check the Ghanaian embassy website. How will she be able to pay you back immediately? It seems as if you are hearing what you want to hear. Sorry, but not likely to be true.

How will she pay you back if she does not have it to pay now,
That is the obvious scam, you are wanting her to be real so bad you are not thinking logically.

Next you know the girl in the photo is the same girl on the web cam ( which is not always the case, often it is the grandma doing the emails)

So how much did she ask for to get a passport and visa also ?

But no there is no fee for declaration

You are aware I assume that Ghana is the largest interent dating fraud location in the world.

I've answered this above is there any questions I can ask her that could trip her up ,I've looked on one answer from this senario before and it's a law document stating there is a decleration fee and its $4000 dollars have you seen this document on here

There is no declaration fee. call the Embassy directly and ask. It is prominently posted on the website that there is no declaration fee.

What question could be asked? These folks are professionals, they will think of something else; law changed recently, corrupt local official, accident, airline gate agent, family medical emergency, etc.

To me the most telling is her offer to repay immediately, how? Good luck.
