Wiring light switches to share a light
The best way to explain my question is with a made up lighting situation.

    Suppose I have light fixture A, B, C, and D

I want Light Switch 1 to turn on Light Fixture A and B

I want light switch 2 to Turn on Light Fixture B, C, and D.

Is there anyway to to wire lights up this way. Every article I have found on 3-way and 4 way switches only show systems that turn on all the lights and turn them back off as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not possible using fixed wiring to 3 way or 4 way switches.

Is this household or commercial? This can't be done on your lower voltage single phase but I have worked on several pieces of equipment on your higher voltages.

Oops. Forgot to add the higher voltage equipment was in the commercial field with this type of circuit.
