Easy to install doorway transition for vinyl to vinyl on concrete?
We used to have carpet in the basement and we replaced it with wood-look vinyl. The green tile look vinyl was damaged somewhat when the carpet to tile transition was removed. The two vinyl types are pretty flush and the area needs a pretty wide transition I'd say. I'd rather not fasten anything down into the concrete since it is so difficult to change and easy to damage. Any ideas?

HD and Lowe's and others have a varietry of transition strips you can glue down. Make sure the vinyl tiles come as close to each other before putting down any transition. You can also cut a tile into say 2" strips and glue that down over the joint. When finished, use clear caulk to seal the edge from breaking off.

There is no way to install a transition strip without attaching to floor.

If area to cover is more then 1 1/2'', recommend a wood saddle. U may have to cut door to install wood saddle.
