Is a Chimney liner always needed?
I was looking into getting a 95% furnace and was told by half the contractors that I need a chimney liner for the hot water tank and half said I do not. The chimney is coming off a single story. Does it matter how tall the chimney extends weather you need a liner? One contractor told me if the chimney was on a two story home I would need a liner but because it only is on a single story I don't? Help please!
