Hi, I am a natural redhead. I had died my redhair previously (a brownish color) and have decided to go back to red. It was a lengthy process! My hair was stripped from brown and then toned pretty close to my natural copper color. In time, the toner fades and I started to get a more defiant line where the top part of my head was my copper color and the bottom half was more a brassy blonde. I went to a salon yesterday to see if she could even out my color with a copper toner and my hair is back to dark brown! Urghh!! I am frustrated because it was such a lengthy process to get back to natural to begin with. The hair dresser used a semi permanent, however, since the ends of my hair were stripped from before, I am wondering if the semi-perm will still fade? Will it fade at the same rate as my roots? I am wanting to have an even copper color from root to ends.
