I am on L1 and have SSN but my wife[L2 visa] does not have,as SSN office need original marriage certificate for SSN. But I don't have in US.so how ican fillid the tax return as married?

If you are filing joint return, you can attach W-7 (ITIN application) for your spouse with your tax return.
