My sister on law has a 18month old daughter with her boyfriend, they have lived together for about a year in Florida, he has been verbally abusive to her 4 year old son which he is not the father and continues to yell and reprimand the 4yr. Old he's has put he hands on her several times ,she is tired and wants to move back to New York. There is no court papers ever been filed . Can my sister in law leave Florida without permission of her baby's daddy? He knows she is leaving due to his verbal arguments and putting her 4yr.old son down.

Has he been established as the baby's biological father through either a court-ordered DNA test and/or through him signing a paternity acknowledgment?

Has she contacted the police when he has abused her? Is there any record or evidence of the abuse?
