Tom I need help, this morning I took a shower, it was fine then after the shower I had no water at all, I went out to the pump house the air pressure gauge is at 0 why would this be and how do I reset the gauge? E-Mail removed by speedball1

Have you checked the breaker? If so, and it's not thrown, then remove the grey cover from the switch and see if the points are closed (touching). If they are not closed, then you probably have a defective switch. If they are closed, then you have to look farther down the line.

Gauges cannot be reset. They only reflect the pressure in the tank.

What id di was shut the water off and there's a little steel L shaped lever on the grey box by the tank I pushed it up and lowered it back down 30 minutes later the psi was at almost 50 turned the water back on and now I have water... Whatt would cause this from not reseting itself or whatever?

That lever is a reset. The switch will turn off the pump if the pressure falls more than 10# below the point where the switch will turn on the pump. This is to prevent the pump from running dry. You might want to check the little pipe leading to the switch. It can get clogged and cause the switch to become sluggish. After that, the switch is cheap and easy to replace. And if that doesn't work, then you think a leak somewhere, bad checkvalve, or (hopefully not) a well that is not supplying enough water.

The well has lots of water.. this has happen before were iw ent out flicked that little L shaped switch and watched the pressure slowly rise, I'm just wodnering why every so often this happens?

Follow the advice given and check and clear the small tube running between the pump and the control box. If it happens again try replacing the control box. Good luck, Tom
