I quit taking my birth control pill for a few days because I was on Amoxicillin and Vicadin and then I had got sick so I thought the two medications were screwing with my birth control. Now, I have vaginal bleeding and lower abdominal pain. The bleeding has progressed and so has the pain. Is this normal? Will it quit once I start my birth control again?

It might... did you have sex while off the pill? Would pregnancy be a possibility? Is this bleeding similar to a period for you?

Either refrain from sex or use condoms until you restart your pills on schedule.

I didn't have sex while I was off the pill. However the bleeding isn't the same as it is when I'm on my period. I just had my period about 1 1/2 weeks ago
