    Possibilities:
    1. Make sure distributor cap, rotor, igniter, coil, spark plugs, and spark plug wires are in good shape. Remove distributor cap and spray inside with WD-40 and wipe dry. You may have moisture condensing inside the cap. There's a moisture cap on most Civic distributors to help prevent moisture buildup.
    2. Spray outside of distributor cap and spark plug wires with silicone spray. This will help prevent moisture from shorting these items out.
    3. Remove, clean, and apply silicone dielectric grease to main grounds; e.g. engine and ECM (on thermostat housing). Examine under hood wiring harness and connections for insulation breaks and corrosion.
