To find out what version of IE you are running, open IE, Press ALT+H, and then click About Internet Explorer. If you are not yet running IE8, I recommend you upgrade as it's fast and safer than previous versions of IE. To get IE8, download it directly from Microsoft here - http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/worldwide-sites.aspx
