We are in a similar situation. My boyfriend got hurt and is off work for 3 months or more on disability. But is still expected to pay full amount of childsupport with no income. I have three kids of my own that live with us. I don't think its right that I should have to take away from my 3 kids to support his son. What can we do?

First, please don't piggyback your question onto someone else's. The original thread is from 2008. It makes it harder for us to find and answer your question.

Second - no, your boyfriend is not expected to pay the full amount. The courts have no idea that he was injured. It is his responsibility to file to have support reduced for the months that his income is reduced. The court will either grant or deny his request, although I don't see why they would deny it.
