On my 1997 honda accord, I replaced the radio. Now, my starter will not turn over when I engage the key! What should I check first?

A short in the radio that has drained the battery? I'd take out the radio, charge the battery, and take it from there.

Some cars have security systems that do that... I don't know about the 1997 but try just disconnecting the battery and back on
