    How to add amps up?
http://www.nationsautoelectric.com/highoutput.html site to ware I found kits.
Hi I need more amps in my car so I found an alternator company that makes up to 350 amp alternator kits that allow you to up to 4 alternators to one engine each producing 350 amp at idle rpm. So my question is if I get the kit to put 4 of them at 350 amps each does that mean I have a total 1,400 amps? Am I adding the amps up right?

Your correct in your amperage total but if this is going in a car your going to need more then just alternators for controlling it. What are you trying to power up ?

Your wlecome. You may want to consider isolated branch circuts for your adventure. Also your going to need a battery pack. You can use distribution blocks with diodes to isolate the system and also to keep feedback out from the electronics. Good Luck and post some pictures if it goes well or not.
