I got my period on Oct. 26, and I just got it again Nov, 14. It's nothing like my usual periods and I've never had a short cycle like this. I always start at the same time of the day every 28 days and it lasts exactly 4 days. It has been that way for 8 years now, since I had my first one. I am sexually active, but use condoms every time. I have been experiencing extreme cramping to the point that I can't sleep or get comfortable. I haven't had any of the usual PMS symptoms I usually experience other than breast tenderness and even that is worse than usual. Please help me, I can't figure out if something is wrong or if there is nothing to worry about.

Most likely, its nothing to worry about. Periods aren't reliable and even if you are very routine, we all get a strange cycle at times.

Because you're describing extreme cramping, it might be wise to mention this to your doctor. It could be a simple cyst, or something more--or less--but its worth checking out.
