    Is the pink scum in dish sink bad for you?
    The pink scum that grows on your dish drying rack is it bad for you? What is it? Where did it come from?

    The pink scum is from not cleaning well enough my dear. It is a very bad bacteria grown from good stuffs, meat matter, warm water, warm environment will always generate it. Close your sink off and float that filthy thing in some chlorine bleach for about half an hour and do that on a regular basis.

    Thanks! It's really a question I had from seeing it in my mother-in-law's sink. We eat over their all the time and I knew it had to be some kind of bacteria but didn't want to comment on it to her until I had so creditable info.
