Cant get my stick down tile to stick?
Just put them (peal & stick) down the other day but a few seams and corners never took. Worked with new sub floor that was as clean as I could manage... thinking of putting a little PL under and in some seams with considerable gaps (1/16th inch).
    Any thoughts?

    Hi User67:

Better off using a flooring adhesive made for setting vinyl tile... click on link below:

W.W. Henry Flooring Adhesives - Homepage

Here, just need to remove the stubborn tiles and spread the adhesive down and let dry until TACKY to touch. Set the tile and I promise you they won't go anywhere... at least not the newly adhered ones!

Simply put, some of these self-stick tiles just aren't sticky enough... learned from experience. Whenever I laid this kind of tile I used a light skim coat of the proper adhesive over the entire floor (done in sections) and tiles never came loose!

    Questions? Let me know...

Did you prime the subfloor? That is very important since it seals the subfloor and gives you a smooth bond surface.

I really didn't want, eventually wanting to lay porcelain tile as a permanent finish. It's looking like I will be using a commercial floor adhesive to have them stick properly so I'll probably be replacing the subfloor for the porcelain
