I am 27 yr old. I had a positive pregnancy test done on 2nd nov and 4th nov. My hcg doubling time is 2.5 days (107 to 188) and progesterone level was 52.6 on 4th nov. My first ultrasound is scheduled on 22nd nov. Could you please help me with the following:
1. After 4th nov nothing regarding pregnancy is tested. So I am bit tensed for the ultrasound. Are the levels OK to relax.
2. Does high progesterone indicate multiple pregnancy?
3. Is glucose tolerance test safe during 6th week of pregnancy?

Your levels fall in the normal range... which can be pretty wide.

Did they give a reason for the glucose test early on? It is not harmful, just not usually done until later unless there are some risk factors.
