I remember that it was a utopia setting.. I read the book about 10 yrs ago. It was about a little boy who gets appointed the most important job out of the utopia which was to have all of the knowledge about the utopia and the world outside of it. In the utopia the people in charge appoints jobs to the children when they become a certain age. One little girl got appointed a job where she was required to be a child bearer for the utopia. I also remember that one day the boy asked his mother if he loved him because once he got important job he found all about love and the different types of emtions because the utopia did not encorporate them, so when he asked if she loved him she responded by saying that she's very fond of him. In the end all I remember is him stealing a baby, running away, I think it was snowing and I don't know if he survived or not... if some one knows the name of it I would be more than grateful.. thank you
