Hi there I am nearly 2 1/2 months over due for my period, I have been really tired lately and sleep probably 3 times a week for 4 hours during the afternoon. Last night I felt very nauseas don't know if this is connected. I have taken several pregnancy tests but all have come back as negative (took one today). I am positive I don't have any STI's was checked at last doctor visit.

I have had late periods in the past but only ever 2 - 3 weeks max.

The last period I had was brown lasting 14 days and then one week later a normal flow period. I saw my doctor for this and she has booked me in for a scan (to see if I have cysts) and a blood test (to check my hormones). I will have these done in roughly 3 weeks.

What is wrong with me?

What are some possibilities?

Could this be serious?

Could it be affecting my fertility?

Get a test from a doctors office. You can't always trust at home tests.

The last test I had was a test from the nurse at my polytechnic. I haven't had a blood test yet but am booked in for a scan in three weeks time.
