I am on probation in Washington State for my second DUI. I am in the deffered prosecution program which includes treatment for alcoholism. I am wondering if I would be able to get and use medical marijuana while in these programs. I have been told by a doctor that I have more than enough qualifying medical conditions to get medical marijuana under normal legal circumstances. Does anybody know if this is a viable option for me in the state of Washington?

Only with permission of the judge and PO officer ( so don't expect it)

YES. I have medical marijuana in Washington state and I got put on probation for a D.U.I. I just had my first meeting with probation today and she asked me if I have used any prescription other than medical marijuana since my last court date I said no and she sent me to the hospital for a U.A and told me it is OK for me to have medical marijuana in my system. My probation is in Tacoma and today is 4/20/11 no pun intended.

Irish kevin... did u ever find out the answer to this? I am now in the same boat and would really like to know the answer to this question!!
