My daughter has night terrors and scratches her face in the same spots every time. She has only recalled the terror one time (when my other daughter witnessed it and tried to wake her up). She is 22 years old, has been having the terrors for about 5 years, and it happens about every 3 months. She has been giving herself a black eye also. The scratches are deep and like I stated; they are in the exact spots on her face and sometimes neck every time. She described it as demons in black attaching her. Please help

She needs to be checked out by a neurologist. Night terrors are often the prelude to other medical conditions, such as, Restless Leg Syndrome, migraines, seizures and other neurological disorders. She really needs a neuro work up.
