    Wiring a reversible ceiling fan?
Would appreciate a wiring diagram or instructions for a reversible ceiling fan with low, medium and high speed,No lights.
One switch has forward-off-reverse command, the other low, medium, high Speed.
The fan has 3 wires only. This a cheap Made in China fan,80 cms diameter.

Lets start this way, what are the colors of the three wires?

Do you already have a ceiling outlet to install the fan?

Do you have a "Switch Loop" and wall switch already in place?

Would using a pull chain be okay with you.

Most ceiling fans have a reversing switch already built into the fan. It's a small slider switch on the housing.

Can you use that if there is one already one installed.
