Chicago tubing or conduit cutter blade; can I replace it?
I had this idea that since I only needed a tubing cutter for 10 or so cuts on some 3/4" EMT (Electrical Metal Tubing) that I would get a used one on eBay. Besides, old tools are made better... right. No plastic... right? O.K. so I lay out $8 including shipping. When it gets here and I take a look at it, I start wondering if I shouldn't replace the blade. I remove the screw and I can't get the old one out. I get the pliers and I still can't get it out. Am I being blonde or do these things not allow the blade to be replaced? (Prefer being blonde right now even if it makes me sound stupid). I decide that if I can find the replacement blade online that will tell me if it can be replaced. Can't find a replacement blade for a Chicago tubing or conduit cutter anywhere online. Please advise. Even if it's just to tell me I screwed up.
