I am pregnant and whenever I use the bathroom I see on the toilet paper dark red blood but not in the actual toilet. What does that mean? Can it effect my pregnancy?

What does your doctor say about this? Have you been for your pre natal pap? Have you started your pre natal vitamins?

My dr wants me to have some blood works done... No I didn't start with vitamins...

I am not trying to scare you, but my first pregnancy I bled like you are explaining, and it ended up being an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy.

How far along are you now? When do you go in for your blood work?

Im in the 6 or 7 week - I wasn't by the dr before I took the ept yestreday and started see spots of blood- I was now in the bathroom and the bowl was full of blood- What does that mean?

I can't diagnose you, but if there is that much blood or even spotting you need to contact your doctor ASAP, if you can't get a hold of your doctor, then you need to go to the ER NOW!

Why do you say I need to head to the ER? Is it that serious?

Umm, your toilette bowl is filled with blood and your pregnant, and you are asking if it's that serious? Hell YES! It's serious.

FYI I spoke to my dr and he said not to worry about it... He told me I should relax and wait until the results come back and he will tell me what it is... BTW as of now I haven't seem any blood! Not in the bowl and not on a tissue! Hope its all well! Thanks anyway for your advise!
