My Kenmore electric clothes dryer needs some help. It has been getting progressively worse over the past few weeks. It works OK but sounds like it is struggling to get going when I hit the start button. Sounds tired like it's struggling to get going and makes noise like something is burning out. It sounded fine once it was going for a second. Now it continues to make some of that same noise the entire time it's one and it won't start at all if the load is too heavy.

Let me correct the situation a bit. The dryer will run but sounds like it's working hard to get going and it won't run it's entire cycle. It will run for about half the time it should and then shut itself off. After I let it cool down, I can start it again. Is this the motor going out? Thanks,
