Unscrew the spray head and turn on the water. Is there a strong stream coming out of the hose? Let me know, Tom

I did what you said and the spry did nothing there was no water at all coming out. Then I put rescrewed the head on the sprayer and the water was running but not full pressure. The rest of the water was running from the tab.

This tells me the spayer head's OK and that this is a diverter malfunction. Remove the handle. You should now be able to pull the spout up and out. In the fromt of the valve body you will find the diverter. This is a flap that shuts the flow off to the spout when your turn the spryer on. Pull the diverter out and clean the area. Turn the water on for just a instant to flush it out. Reassemble and test. Let me know, Tom
