So I have liked this great girl for a while now. I feel stronger for her than any other person I have ever liked. We are great friends and we talk a lot. She knows that I used to like her but I don't think she realizes how strongly I feel about her. We are comfortable talking with each other and I casually want to tell her how I feel about her without it being awkward and damaging our friendship. I feel that if she actually knew how I felt about her, things would be different.

We are freshmen in high school

Why don't you want to tell her straight up? It's better than using a line like the guys use in a bar...

That's just sorry. Speak from the heart. It's much more appreciated by us women.

Just be honest. If she feels the same way, you can become a couple. But if she doesn't feel the same way, she will reject you nor matter how you say it.

But before you confess your feelings, why not talk to her more and get to know her better? Once she gets to know you better, she will feel more comfortable around you.
