Converting electric wiring from heat pump to normal gas furnace set up
I have an older Olson gas furnace that is connected to an old Lennox heat pump. I do not use the heat pump any more for cooling or heat (I have it run in emergeny mode to only use the furnace). I would like to completely disconnect the heat pump panel and run a standard furnace set up , but not sure how to rewire the unit. My current setup for high voltage is as following:
Neutral goes to: fan motor, transformer and HP control panel
Hot goes to light green on limiter switch
Connection #1: HP control panel red + fan motor
Connection #2: Limiter switch red + HP control panel black + transformer

    For low voltage
Connection #3: transformer to gas valve
Connection #4: gas valve black and white to HP control panel low voltage side
Connection #5: limiter switch black and white to HP control panel low voltage side
Connection #6 Thermostat wires to HP control panel low voltage side (I still have the old thermostat)

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.
