Small claims court Massachusetts statue of limitations
Is there a time limit to file a small claims dispute in Massachusetts? It would be a claim against a landlord that didn't return a $3200.00 security deposit and has no receipts for repairs he said he needed to make.

SOL in Massachusetts is six years:
    Massachusetts Statutes of Limitations

Out of curiosity, where were you living that required a $3,200 security deposit? Has the landlord contacted you in any way about returning the deposit? How long ago did you vacate the premises?
