It turns out that my son is dating the doctors secretaries estranged daughter.
The secretary would not stop harassing my son on Facebook so I called
To speak with her and ask her to contact me directly
And not my son if she had any further complaints. She then proceeded
To tell me that with my psychiatric history as well as my husbands,
It's no wonder that my son is experiencing problems.
She then intimated that she discussed this information with
Her husband. When I brought the complaint to the dr, he
Stated that he needed to keep her on until a suitable replacement
Can be found (he has one but not available until July 2011)
And discharged me my son who was having severe difficulties with the medication he had just started him on a few weeks ago.

Sounds to me like you were completely blown off by this doctor. I would report him and his office to the College of Physicians and Surgeons, if you have the equivalent where you are and don't hesitate. He has already discharged to you so there should no problem seeing him again.

Edit: This makes me so angry. This doctor has no business even practicing and dealing with decent people. And I hope some of our other experts will come forward with even better suggestions then mine.
