I have a lennox elite series heater. The pilot will lit and stay on about 2 min then it shuts off. But if I put the thermostat on fan only it will work but it blows out cold air. Why won't it blow when I put it on Auto?

The Auto position only works when the furnace is producing enough heat to trigger the plemum sensor. The on position ovverides this sensor.
