Does anyone know what this 80s/90s animated movie is?
I have no idea what this cartoon movie is called. I saw it on TV once as a child and didn't finish it. I barely remember it but I can't ever get it out of my head.
It's about two squirrels or skunks. I'm pretty sure they are skunks because they had huge tales but I think I remember them being solid colors instead of black and white so they might have been squirrels... Anyway, I think it's a love story.
It's a male squirrel/skunk and a female squirrel/skunk. They're on some sort of journey or adventure through the forest together because of something they have to take care of or get to. The male was very mean to the female. He found her annoying or something but she loved him dearly to the point where it was pitiful because he was so mean to her. Even though he repeatedly hurt her feelings(by yelling at her or ignoring her), she seemed oblivious and still showered him with love and compliments. She would cry then get over it and continue to act all giddy and in love.
A scene I remember is during their journey, it snows and they need to sleep but they're cold so they snuggley bury themselves under the snow to keep warm and sleep until morning and when morning comes, the female giddily expresses how warm it was under the snow and the male replies with either a sarcastic remark, something nice for a change or ignores her.
I've always felt sorry for the little female squirrel/skunk and I didn't get to finish the movie so I wish I knew the name of the movie so I could watch it and find out if she ends up happy~
