Help! Need to identify furniture era...
I would like help finding the era on my dining room furniture. Brief description...

Wood has a reddish tone but finish is nearly black. Carving/overlays are urns, drapery, flower medallions, inlaid beads, and feathers. I was unable to find any saw marks - straight or circular as I read in my online research (not looking for the right thing?) Drawer joints are imperfect dovetail (hand done?) The table legs are held on by wing nut system. The extension on table is aided by metal lever which makes it possible to close up the table w/ only one person (when you fold the handle up it closes that last gap between the ends) The table extends to seat 10 to 12. Legs are mostly square with block feet except if they connect in an ornamented area then the top for the leg matches the carving.

There are two stories on this table... one is it was a wedding present to my great grandmother who was married in the early 1920's (which does not define if it was new or not) and the other is it was a cast off from a neighbor and given to my grandmother in 1945 (so we at least know it is at least that old and anyway... what neighbor gives away a NEW set... so... )

I would love any help I can get dating this to an era. I have found hints here and there but nothing very definitive. Thank you in advance for any advice or direction on this!
