Here we go again... my husband and I have had unprotected sex for three years now, in hopes of conceiving... with no luck. For the last week I have been spotting a light brown discharge that smells like blood with no sign of a "real" period. I've gotten my hopes up before and don't want to be let down again... I had what seemed like a period two weeks ago and now have sore nipples that have also lasted for a week. What gives? Could I actually be pregnant now?

It's possible, but of course the only way to know for sure would be to try a test. Best to wait until you are due for your next period, and see if it shows or not.
