Default judgment was granted even though I answer the original complaint. The debt collectors attorney tried to have my answer removed with a motion to strike. This I also replied answering the motion. Than the attorney filied a motion for default judgment on Thursday and I received this the next day Friday and I responded to that motion to block it by stateing I did answer and as far as I knew it was still part of the case ths was filed on the following Monday. On Tuesday I received notice from the court that default judgment was given to the plaintiff on the previous Friday the day I was notify of the motion.
