    Hey Noel,

Now that's kind of confusing but I get your drift.
Tell me more about your shower.
Is it a custom tile or a manufactured enclosure?
    How old is it?
    Back to you, Tom

    OK Noel, Gotcha!
The very first thing we have to do is localize the leak.
We'll check the drain and shower pan first.
Remove the strainer, ( put the screws in a safe place) and plug the drain with wet rags or you can blow up a balloon in the drain hole.
Now fill the shower floor with about a inch of water and monitor the ceiling below, At the first sign of extra moisture drain the water out and let me know.
If the shower floor holds water over night the drain and shower pan is OK and we'll move on ton the next step. Let me know what you find out. If the drain and pan check out OK then we have covered the expensive part. Regards, Tom

But Noel, The drain is part of the shower. Are you saying the leak is in the shower valve when you turn it on?

Can you explain that a little better? I still don't know exactly what's leaking. Back to you, Tom
