    I want to change my visa status from j1 to q1
    Hi , I ma on j1 visa and it going to expired on June 2011 and I am looking forward to change visa status to q1 and there is no two ear rules apply on my visa so please help me out how and when I can apply for changing my visa status... [email protected]

    Confirm that you are not subject to the 2-year home residency, stay in status and file for the COS. The Q-1 petitioner usually has immigration counsel to assist.

    Good. Bring your DS-2019, pasport with visa and I-94 to the Q-1 petitioner and they can file for you.
