    How to rectify it?
    I'm getting a message "D:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\WINCFGS.EXE FILE NOT FOUND" whenever I boot up my system. How can I rectify it?

    If you have one, or if "D" itself is a USB drive, this is potentially a virus. Here is some info, look under the Advanced tab on this page:

    Hi,
    I would Dnload and run Ad-Aware, then head over to their Forums and post your Log from the run.
    They will help you finish it off.
