I have a cast iron closet flange with a lead seal on a concrete floor. During remodeling and toilet replacement, I found the flange to be a bit loose and secured it to the floor with screws and some leveler (used for unrelated floor issues). There is a bit of a ragged edge on the lead seal where it was loosened, and although I will use a wax seal with a funnel, I would like to re-caulk the lead seal after reading some of Mr. speedball1's posts on other issues. What material is used for the caulk? Is it lead or something out of a tube? How do I do it? Tools? -Thanks in advance.
