    DI-524 Router Changing the Password
I am trying to change the password on a DI 524 wireless D-Link Wireless Router and the ip address I enter the url responds with web page not available. When I run IPCONFIG the address shows up as 192.168.0.1 I have tried 192.168.0.100, 192.168.1.0, 192.168.1.1 all to no avail. When I ping the ip address 192.168.0.1 I receive a successful send and receive packets. I am running Windows 7 (64 bit) with Internet Explorer 8 or 9. Which ever is the latest. Thanks

When you do the ipconfig, look for the "Gateway" address. That should be your router's IP address. Enter that in the brower's URL bar and you should be able to log into the router.

I actually would've thought it was 192.168.0.1, instead of your computer having that IP. (Unless I've misunderstood what you are saying).

    Good luck,

Hmm... Could you do a Ipconfig /all and post the results? It would help tremendously!

Here is some of the output
    IPv$ = 192.168.0.100
    Subnet Mask = 255.255.255.0
    Default Gateway = 192.168.0.1
    DHCP Server = 192.168.0.1
    DNS Server = 192.168.0.1
DNCP and Auot Config enabled are both Yes
    I hope this helps

    Is this your router?
Have you changed the password before?
    Have you reset the router?
