About two months ago while doing laundry (in an upstairs laundry room) the half bath beneath the laundry room started to gurgle and then proceeded to overflow. It would also leak from underneath the toilet... We had a plumber out and found out it was a stoppage issue in which my son flushed too many flushable wipes down the toilet; a whole pack to be exact. This was less then a month ago and we thought after $500 the issue was fixed. About two weeks ago I was doing laundry again and the toilet made the awful sound again... this time it didn't overflow it just gurgled. This past weekend I was doing laundry again and the soap suds started coming out from under the toilet during the rinse/spin cycles. It never did overflow, it just filled with soap suds... the new problem we noticed is that outside at our two drains was a puddle... I did a load of laundry tonight and of course it did it again, I went outside during the final spin cycle to see water pouring out of the one pipe and it looks like there's very small shredded pieces of toilet paper around it and it obviously smells like sewage. Does this mean our stoppage issue has not been cleared? And do you think a couple dosages of RidX could possibly clear the issue without having to call the plumber again?

City sewer or septic? Reason I ask is Riddex is for spetic tanks. Suds both time from under the toilet tell me bad wax ring, didn't that plumber replace the ring? He should have. Please tell me more about this area " outside at our two drains was a puddle"

I would say city sewer, we get our water/sewer bill from the borough...
Uh the plumber didn't even look at that toilet, he went straight down to the basement and used a camera to find that we didn't have a broken pipe and that it was a blockage.

As far as the area outside... we live in a townhouse and on our driveway is actually 4 different drains... 2 of which I THINK are our neighbors. So it's like 2 sets of 2... one is completely covered & you can't see down it, the other is like a drain

... a drain that you can see down - the plumber kept going to it & then back down to the basement & used a shop vac w/ a long attachment to suck it clear. He did use a snake at one point too...

He apparently did not get the entire clog out or you have a collapsed drain line. I would suggest maybe another plumber next time, one who will spot that the wax ring is bad and can tell you what he sees in his camera.

Bob's on the right track. Your plumber didn't get the entire clog. Since you say he ran a camera down the line I don't think you have a collapsed pipe.
All toilets have a horn 5that goes past the toilet flange and directs the discharge past the wax ring and the closet flange into the closet bend. Wax rings were never designed to contain back pressure and I'm not surprised that it leaked water out the base but I'd replace it any way.
These outside drains. Do they collect rain water run off and drain to the sewer?
