I have dug out one side of my house in hopes of pouring a new patio, but found out my footing is only eight inches thick. My question is, if I exspose the top of the footing will this cause problems? p.s. ilive in northern ky

Is there a foundation wall sitting on top of that footing? How deep was the footing amnd what is your frost line in KY
