Curious how hard its going to be for me to date... Since I play Mr. Mom practically with my son with not much help from his mom who is really young and immature, I wonder how much harder it will be to date other than finding free time? Do women usually see men with a kid baggage even if they are a good Dad who is always there for his son?

    1800proof

In my experience (37 w/17 & 9 yr old, I have primary custody), the women I've dated think it's a turn-on and appreciate that I'm responsible. And I quote... "It's hot!" I've dated women in the age range of 28-38.

If they don't agree, then is that the type of woman you would want around your kids? Family first. Good luck brother!

Interesting... I'm planning on trying to get primary custody as well... I heard its tough in Ca. Ya, I guess I'm just worried about everything since I've been in a relationship for 4+ yrs. And don't really know the dating scene anymore.

As I female I would say definitely no. Any woman who can't respect you as a father and the relationship you have with your son isn't worth your time anyway.

I don't see it as a problem. Not at all.

Like the others have said, if a woman has a problem with it, then you don't want her any way.

And to the first poster, YES, it is a huge turn on for a man to own up a be a great Father... "It's hot!"

Well that's somewhat relieving.. I just know a lot of guys are not that way with girls... no that I'm saying its right by any means.

    I wish

Having a child is definitely seen a baggage by some. But others may not feel that way. Bottom line, depends on who you meet. Only way to find out is by meeting more people.
