Hi, I've been at the college I am at for only a few months. I get along with a lot of people but I have just a main group of friends. My roommate and I are really close, and are both transferring in December closer to where our homes are. She's also in the group of friends and we were discussing some things that have happened lately. We both agree that it seems as though two of our friends have been distancing themselves from us, getting new friends(which just to mention, we aren't mad or opposed about), but have been ditching us for them. Anytime we're with each other and someone new comes in, they have to mention that we are transferring and will not be there anymore, I guess it doesn't even have to be that someone comes in, they'll just kind of rub it in to make us feel bad that we are. Pardon my french, but they have become complete *****es to me this past week. I have mixed feelings about this, I don't know really what to do. Any suggestions on what you would do?
